At Signs4Golf, we believe golf can do more than bring people together – it can help drive real change. That’s why we’re incredibly proud to support Jacobi’s Wish, a heartfelt campaign raising awareness and funds for Duchenne UK, through what we know best: high-quality, custom golf signage.
Jacobi’s Story: Turning Diagnosis into Determination
In September 2017, Jacobi’s family received life-changing news: their young son had been diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), a rare and progressive muscle-wasting condition that primarily affects boys. DMD causes a steady decline in mobility, typically leading to wheelchair use between the ages of 8 and 12, and sadly reduces life expectancy.
But from day one, Jacobi’s family refused to sit back and wait. They launched Jacobi’s Wish, a fundraising campaign to support Duchenne UK, the UK’s leading charity dedicated to funding research and clinical trials aimed at finding a cure.

Golf: More Than Just a Game for Jacobi
From an early age, Jacobi has loved golf. It’s not just a hobby—it’s a passion and a source of joy and freedom. Whether he’s riding his buggy around Inverallochy Golf Club, his home course in Scotland, or discovering a new course with his family, Jacobi lights up when he’s on the fairway.
Golf has also become a key platform for the family’s fundraising. Every two years, Jacobi’s Wish hosts a charity golf day—bringing together friends, supporters, and sponsors to help raise awareness and vital funds.

Three-Time Supporters: Signs4Golf’s Ongoing Contribution
We’re honoured to have been part of this journey for several years. Signs4Golf has proudly supplied signage for three of Jacobi’s fundraising golf events, helping to raise the visibility and professionalism of each occasion.
Each sign not only helps guide players and promote sponsors – it helps share Jacobi’s story with every person on the course.

Why It Matters
Supporting Jacobi’s Wish is about more than just one boy. It’s about every child living with Duchenne, every family affected, and every step taken toward a future without this devastating disease. The awareness raised through golf, and the generosity of those who participate, is helping to bring that future closer.

We’re proud that our signs can play a small part in that bigger picture.
