On June 13th, we had the absolute pleasure of taking part in the Sage House Dementia Hub Charity Golf Day at the beautiful Cowdray Golf Club in Midhurst – and what a day it was!

This event was all about raising funds and awareness for Sage House, a dementia support centre based in Tangmere, West Sussex – just around the corner from us at Signs4Golf HQ.

And, because they are just on our doorstep, we’ve seen the incredible work they do. As well as providing excellent care, support and community for people living with dementia and their families, they have a purpose-built facility which brings people all together to offer everything from therapies and well-being services to advice, social activities and a welcoming space to connect.

Playing our part

At Signs4Golf, we were proud to get behind such an important cause. We entered a team of four, sponsored the 3rd hole and provided signage for the event, including Nearest the Pin, Longest Drive and most of the signage boards, completely free of charge. It was our small way of giving back to a service that means a lot to us and so many others in the area.

The day itself couldn’t have gone better – a 4-hour round filled with laughs, good golf (mostly!), and plenty of refreshments. There was a great mix of fun and generosity and it all added up to a truly successful day.

Thanks to the efforts of everyone involved and all those who supported on the day. These great businesses included:

  • Knight Fencing
  • Southcoast Care
  • Care IK
  • Ascia Construction
  • Silcom Recruitment
  • Pangea Insurance
  • Peter Cooper Motor Group
  • Martin Sewell Building Company
  • Sage House by Dementia Support

Altogether, the event raised a brilliant £5,000 for a really fantastic cause and we couldn’t be more pleased.

Here’s to the next charity day!
