This past week, the Signs4Golf team took to the scenic roads of Ireland, delivering our premium golf signage to some of the most iconic courses in the world.

Our journey began on Sunday, 21st July, with a drive to the Pembroke ferry terminal, followed by a 4-hour ferry crossing to Rosslare. From there, we embarked on a 4-hour drive across the country to beautiful County Kerry to deliver a batch of our signature pitchfork signs.

First Stop: Ballybunion Golf Club, County Kerry

Located on the stunning west coast, Ballybunion Golf Club was the perfect starting point. Founded in 1893, this historic club is home to two world-renowned links courses. While dropping off our signage here, we had the pleasure of meeting General Manager John Eggleston, who extended true Irish hospitality – even offering us a complimentary round of golf. A sincere thank you to John and the entire team for the warm welcome.

Next Up: Doonbeg and Lahinch

On Monday, we hit the road again, this time heading south to Trump International Golf Links in Doonbeg for a productive meeting. With its dramatic coastal views and immaculate layout, Doonbeg is a standout destination for any golf lover. Later that day, we arrived at Lahinch Golf Club, where the reception couldn’t have been better.

Tuesday brought a change of pace with a round of golf and a relaxing evening in Galway, catching up with an old friend and enjoying a much-needed break mid-trip. Thank you to Galway Golf Club for the complimentary round and for giving us a chance to take in the views and hospitality in a more relaxed setting.

West Coast Wonders: Carne and Enniscrone

On Thursday, we followed the Wild Atlantic Way north for 3.5 hours of breathtaking scenery before arriving at the world-famous Carne Golf Links in County Mayo. We were greeted by GM Fiona Tougher to deliver 10 custom signs – an honour to support such a special and remote club. Carne also generously hosted us for a complimentary round, which was an unforgettable experience across their rugged, natural terrain.

That afternoon, we continued to Enniscrone Golf Club to hand-deliver 4 Pitchfork Signs to Head Pro Keith O’Neil. The course staff were fantastic, and we enjoyed a complimentary round here as well – a real treat after a busy day on the road.

We rounded out the evening by swapping stories with four visiting golfers from Canada – the kind of serendipitous connection that makes trips like these unforgettable.

Northern Route: Strandhill, Sligo, Donegal

Friday saw us meeting with clubs in Strandhill and County Sligo Golf Club (Rosses Point) to showcase our signage range before heading further north to deliver more signs at Donegal Golf Club. Their team made us feel right at home, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to enjoy a complimentary round on this stunning northwest links.

Into Northern Ireland: Lough Erne Resort

Saturday brought us across the border into Northern Ireland, where we had the pleasure of delivering signs to the luxury Lough Erne Golf Resort. The reception was excellent and we capped the visit with a complimentary round of golf on their world-class course.

Wrapping Up: Dublin, Portmarnock, Rosslare

Sunday was a well-earned day off in Dublin before heading to Portmarnock Resort and Jameson Links that evening. On Monday morning, we met with GM Paul McCanny, who was enthusiastic about our signage solutions.

Our final meeting took place at Rosslare Golf Club with GM Mark Doyle, who was equally impressed with the signage on offer. With that, it was back to the ferry for our 9:00 p.m. sailing – marking the end of an incredible 8-day journey.

Final stats

Miles driven: 1,475

Days on the road: 8
